After breakfast, your driver/guide will pick you up from your riad or hotel in Fez to begin the journey to Merzouga. Along the way, we will stop in Azrou to observe the Barbary macaques in the lush cedar and oak forests. We will then continue to Ifrane, known as «Little Switzerland» for its European-style architecture, situated at over 1,700 meters above sea level. Later, we will cross the picturesque Ziz Valley, renowned for its palm groves and stunning landscapes. In the afternoon, we will arrive in the village of Merzouga, where you will enjoy dinner and overnight accommodation in a riad or hotel.

After breakfast, we will set out from Merzouga to explore the magnificent dunes of Erg Chebbi. During the journey, you will have the chance to photograph unique desert landscapes and visit nomadic families living in the area, gaining insight into their traditional way of life. We will continue to the village of Khamlia, home to communities originally from Mali, Senegal, and Mauritania, where you can enjoy a live performance of gnawa music. Later, we will visit the Mifiss mines before returning to your riad or hotel in Merzouga.

In the afternoon, we will embark on an exciting camel trek to a Berber camp in the heart of the desert. Here, you will enjoy dinner under the stars and traditional Berber music played with drums. You will spend the night in an authentic nomadic tent, known as a «haima.»

At sunrise, you will wake up to witness the breathtaking view of the sun rising over the dunes. Afterward, we will return to the riad on camelback for breakfast and a refreshing shower.

The journey continues to Rissani, where you can explore its vibrant and bustling market. We will then head toward the Draa Valley, famous for its extensive palm groves and Berber villages. Upon arriving in Ouarzazate, you will have the opportunity to visit the Atlas Film Corporation Studios, where many desert-themed films have been shot. Dinner and overnight stay at a riad or hotel in Ouarzazate.

After breakfast, we will head to Marrakech with a stop at the famous Ait Ben Haddou kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This traditional fortress has served as the backdrop for numerous films and series.

We will then cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, the highest in the region at 2,260 meters above sea level. Arrival in Marrakech is expected in the afternoon, marking the end of our services.
